-Nathan,
-Thanks. Great ideas....a very meaty posting.
I agree! Thanks, Nathan! :-)

-How many people on this list would consider participating in a co-op ?

I think it sounds like a very good idea. I'd be interested in
something like this. It fits very nicely into the framework of the Reality
Sculptors Project. I'd like to see it grow into a large think-tank/do-tank
of people sort of self-assembling into groups to tackle various problems,
and something like this co-op purchasing of materials for experimentation
would probably be fairly ideal for a diverse group of problem-solvers.
And hey, we've got a website, and mailing lists for coordinating
things. And I'm beginning to consider a hierarchy of Usenet newgroups for
certain projects. Sounds like it wouldn't be too hard to put together a
system where people could discuss what materials they want to go in on
together...

"As a person that really looks at the market and at customer demand, I would
say that there is a demand for ease-of-use, there is a demand for
integration with email products, there is a demand for the management of

escrow by the federal government." -- Linda Hayes, Marketing VP, PGP Inc.
