In May, 2001, Patrick and i spent our first week on Tortola Island, one of the British Virgin Islands. It was beautiful, fun, friendly and relaxing. We stayed at Prospect Reef Resort, a place that gives you the attention and pampering that some people want from resorts (which i found a bit disconcerting at times), while moving at Island Speed and doing things on Island Time. We took a lot of pictures, but not many of them came out well because the first 4 days or so were rainy and cloudy. So here are the better ones, grouped in a way that caught my fancy at the time of putting these pages together, with accompanying notes and stories.
