BBA(tm) Death Valley Trip

We BigBadAsses were brave enough to accompany each other to Death Valley in the fall of 1998 to see what was expected to be a fabulous Leonid meteor storm. While the storm was much more of a shower, we had a great time visiting the Bristlecone pines, family and the Valley. With that, here are some of the (way too many) photos i took there...

Group portrait Almost sunset Whoosh! Scarf to the wind Pat gets the last date shake of the year (photo possibly taken by Jim)
Alien sky writing, i'm sure of it Sunring at the Bristlecones Old, gnarly Bristlecone pines Some critters just have good taste
Hiking the dunes at sunrise - grains of sand Ghost town in Nevada The wild Jim in his colorful element Millions of years of wind and water take their toll
Self portrait The pitter-patter of little feet I didn't know he was *that* Father Crowley
Reminiscing on lives past Erosion is funny like that John and Lisa push the limits Wasn't i supposed to get into National Geographic for this one? Ugh.
God's pantone palette A fascination with invisible things All aboard the mothership Us'ns with the Bristlecones
Happy, happy Jim after the day the sun rose You see them too, don't you? Do platypodes like Grey Poupon? Salt flats - yes, all of it
