Here is my dome with the roof just completed.

BTW, does everyone here know about the small house movement?  I sent a
picture of my dome to some guy on here last year and he asked me if
this was the model for it.  Besides requiring less energy to inhabit,
I didn't have to murder any trees to prepare the building site, I just
put it in the spot where a couple of dead trees were.

I keep hearing on the radio about this "dome" they are using in the
gulf to stop the oil leak.  But then it turns out to be a big box, or
maybe it's a cylinder.  Such a shame that these "top engineers" don't
have the skills to build the best, appropriate structure for the
problem(a real dome.)
