You ain't foolin me buddy...You ain't Bob Villa!
Fact is have been building domes 36 years and have managed to p.o. most of
the kitcos for my direct style of "No one kit fits all".
What Dan is referring to is a project where we engineered a remodel that
built a 110' dome over an existing house, while occupied. The pool is now
inside the house. Local guys and family are finishing it.
We've done this several times in some extreme cases where folks sprayed
foam on their domes and they inevitably rotted from within.
You gotta let some types breathe! Not much mind you... and a cupola
generally solves most "overpressure" issues

Most guys are proprietary. You know...each(their) way of building a
plate/dome is the latest greatest way of doing it. Me...I'm a dinosaur.
  Just ask anybody.
