Several of the lumber connector companies sell "gazebo connectors".  I
know they have 6 and 8 way hubs, but I haven't yet checked on a 5.

But rest assured the starplates themselves are worth their cost - I
torqued off two lag bolts heads (14.4 volt impact drill is worth it's
weight in gold!!) and had to re-drill the holes and those plates are
tough steel!
