popsicle stick hub

Hi group,
 I saw this popsicle stick hub stuff some time ago, and believe it has
some
practical applications.  It might be of special interest to those
interested in folding and deployable structures. I tried it myself
with some cardboard strips and it works really well.  The designers
were most interested in uses for this hub, so I explained how they
could be used in dome design and construction.  The link below has a
3.3MB Word Doc that has a picture and short description.
